Danny Waine

Danny, who is originally from Middlesbrough in the North East of England; recently graduated from Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University as a Bachelor of Arts, with a First Class Honours Degree in Travel & Tourism Management. He is currently studying towards his CIM Professional Marketing Diploma at Sutton Coldfield College.

In 2006 he was awarded the 'Bella Rangel Callen ITT Award' for top Travel & Tourism Student in the UK and since then has written regular articles for the Travel Weekly magazine and other trade and national papers. He was also attributed a number of quotes in the new publication "A Very Pink Wedding" by Nicola Hill; giving advice on the legalities of Civil Partnerships abroad.

In Summer 2007 Danny was shortlised for the UK & Ireland Travel Trade Gazette 'Young Agent of the Year Award', held at Manchester's Hilton Hotel.

Before joining Perfect Weddings & Honeymoons previous roles include hotel customer service experience in the Grand Teton National Park (Wyoming) USA, in sales for an overseas weddings specialist tour operator, and other customer service and sales roles in various retail businesses.
